Over 100 years ago in a tiny Texas town, citizens took root on solid ground. Still standing there today upholding tradition strong and proud.
The community is served by the self-less and brave, whose value and worth are beyond all measure.
As Fire Fighters dedicated to supporting the needs of the community, this site is the headquarters for the McKinney Combat Challenge Team. We are a non-profit team comprised of Fire Fighters who work for the City of McKinney, TX and compete in the Nationwide Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge. We are proud to serve the citizens of our community and provide them with fire protection and emergency medical services.
Fire Fighting is both physically and mentally demanding, as Combat Challenge Team members we strive to increase our physical and mental capabilities by pushing ourselves to be the best possible athletes, which allows us to be even better firefighters. We train hard, and compete even harder to stand out among the best!
About the Team
The team is comprised of every day firefighters from around the community of McKinney. Firefighter combat challenge took root in McKinney around 1999 and went dormant for a few years before being resurrected in 2009 by team Captain Russell “El Guapo” Krasnesky. There are some members of the old team who made a name for themselves, and some new comers looking to cut their teeth on the challenge. We have been training hard and are coming back faster, stronger, and tougher than ever. |
